Brief Answers to questions you might ask…

What dates are you open

We are open from July 1st to September 5th 2022 at Field 725 Campsite near Bruton and Frome

How do I get there?

Visit the following link for more information: https://field725.co.uk/find-us/

Can I bring a dog?

Yes you can bring a dog camping but no, you can’t stay in a glamping unit with one. Unfurnished units are fine for dogs.

What is in each glamping unit?

The furnished glamping units all have bed linen; towels; fire pit and grill; firewood and charcoal; cool box with freezer blocks; LED lighting. Crockery and cutlery are provided in the glamping kitchen for shared use, as are a range of pots and pans. Some units have slight differences – i.e. a litter bin.

A family or quad unit is for 4 persons, a small family or triple unit is for 3 persons and a double or twin unit for two. The Touaregs hold 5 people across a double and 3 single beds.

Is there food and drink onsite

Yes there is. The food offer for 2022 is being worked out, please bear with us on this. We aim to provide catering most days of the week during the Summer School Holiday period.

In 2021, woodfired pizzas were served by Stanlio and Ollio of Frome on a Friday and Saturday Night. They also ran our breakfast cafe serving delicious coffee, ciabatta rolls and pastries on Thursday to Monday each week.

Saturdays and Sundays often see a BBQ cooked by our in-house chef and there are ad-hoc other food services at other times. Our reception sells ice lollies and ice creams for those sunny days.

Thursday was specials night.

Are activities included with my accommodation?

No they are not, but you can buy activity passes for specific sessions via this website which include access to all activities.

Occasional activities such as cinema are available without an additional pass.

What activities are on offer

The programme updates regularly. Please visit: https://be-wilder.co.uk/explore/programme/

Different providers offer different sessions to guests. Kids are well provided for with a range of forest school activities, games, crafts and story and song sessions.

Can I bring a travel cot? Will they fit in your glamping tents?

Yes you can. The cots will fit in any of our spaces, however the small yurts have the highest sides so may be to your preference.

Can I make a fire or use a BBQ?

You can bring your own fire dish or BBQ as long as it’s off the ground. We can provide a paving slab to prevent grass scorching. You can also hire these from us for £5 per night plus buy firewood, kindling, charcoal and firelighters.

Can I book Be Wilder Camps for a group? Is it suitable for this?

Yes, you can book a set of units or the whole site, with 26 glamping tents and some camping pitches available. Groups booking part of the site need to be respectful of others. Single sex groups will be considered carefully. Large family groups are most welcome. Contact bewildercamps@gmail.com to discuss options and rates.
